Varmoda LLC ("Varmoda") operates this website and provides technology services to federal agencies, state and local governments, and commercial enterprises. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Varmoda collects through this website, how it uses it, who it shares it with, how long it keeps it, and the choices available to you.

Varmoda collects the information you choose to give it. When you contact Varmoda through the website, this includes your name, organization, email address, telephone number and the details of your enquiry. When you join Varmoda’s Talent Community or apply for a role, it also includes your location, work authorization and clearance status, employment preferences, years of experience, key skills, professional profile links, and the contents of any resume you upload. Varmoda also collects limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view, which it uses to keep the site secure and understand how the site is used.

Varmoda uses the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to evaluate your interest in current and future roles, to notify you about opportunities and events that match your background, to operate, secure and improve the website, and to meet its legal, contractual and regulatory obligations as a government contractor.

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used. Varmoda uses Google Analytics to understand site traffic and usage patterns, the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the performance of its recruitment and marketing campaigns, the Meta pixel to measure the performance of its advertising, and ZoomInfo WebSights, a business-to-business visitor identification service that uses your IP address and browsing activity on this site to identify the organization you are visiting from and, where ZoomInfo already holds it, professional contact information associated with that organization. Varmoda uses that information to understand which organizations are interested in its services and to follow up about business opportunities. ZoomInfo processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy notice, available at zoominfo.com/about/privacy, which also provides a way to opt out of its data collection. These providers may set cookies and receive information about your visit, including your IP address and the pages you view, and may combine it with information they already hold. The careers section of this site also runs DivaChat, a recruitment chat assistant provided by JobDiva, the applicant tracking system Varmoda uses. If you open the chat, JobDiva receives the messages you send, along with any name, email address, phone number or resume you choose to provide, and technical information such as your IP address and browser type. Varmoda uses that information only to respond to your enquiry and to consider you for open positions, and JobDiva processes it under its own privacy notice at jobdiva.com/privacy-policy. You are not required to use the chat, and you can apply through the standard application form instead. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on Google provides. Refusing cookies may affect how parts of the site behave.

If you check the consent box on its Talent Community form, it will use your telephone number to send transactional and marketing text messages about employment opportunities at Varmoda. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages and HELP for help, or contact Varmoda at info@varmoda.com. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of employment or of being considered for any role.

Varmoda does not sell your personal information and it does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the analytics and advertising technologies described above. Varmoda shares information with service providers who help it operate its business, including its applicant tracking system and recruiting platform, its email and messaging providers, and its hosting and analytics providers, each of whom is permitted to use the information only to provide services to it. Varmoda may also share information with a client or prospective client where you are being considered for a role on their program, with its professional advisers, and with government authorities where disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena, or the terms of a contract.

Varmoda keeps Talent Community records and applicant information for two years from the date you last contacted it or last applied, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is required by law, by its recordkeeping obligations as a federal contractor, or to establish or defend a legal claim. Contact enquiries are kept for two years. Technical and analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in each analytics tool.

Wherever you are located, you may ask Varmoda to access, correct, or delete the personal information it holds about you, ask for a copy of it, ask it to restrict how it uses it, or ask to be removed from its Talent Community. To make a request, write to info@varmoda.com. Varmoda will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, Virginia, Colorado and Connecticut, have these rights by statute, together with the right to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to appeal a decision Varmoda makes about a request. To appeal, reply to Varmoda’s response or write to info@varmoda.com with the word "Appeal" in the subject line, and a member of its leadership team who was not involved in the original decision will review it. Varmoda does not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

Varmoda uses administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure, and it limits access to those who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so Varmoda cannot guarantee absolute security.

This website is not directed to children and Varmoda does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided Varmoda with personal information, contact it and it will delete it.

Varmoda may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When Varmoda does, it will revise the effective date shown above and post the updated policy on this page.
